Long gone are the days where choices for your wedding breakfast were limited to parma ham or prawn cocktail for starters. The world of wedding catering is now vast and imaginative to keep up with modern brides and their unique ideas. A couple of years ago Tie The Knot Catering recognised the need for an alternative to three course dining, relaxed food with no queuing, and they developed their BBQ board menus. These comprise a range of different meats, sides and salads, served informally to reflect a laid back wedding day. They have been a roaring success with 60% of their couples now choosing relaxed dining over traditional three course. Last year they recognised the need for a menu that felt as relaxed as BBQ boards… but without a burger in sight! Brides were yearning for something new, something for the pub goers, the hearty eaters, the roast lovers.

Slow cooked lamb shank in red wine, fresh mint & rosemary and sticky red cabbage, roasted new potatoes with rock salt and herbs, broccoli & cauliflower, Brighton blue gratin, panache of seasonal vegetables.
Baked pork rack cutlets brushed with mustard and herb glaze with chargrilled apples, root vegetable mash with honey & thyme, sauteed greens and creamed leeks.
