Wedding Signage

Give me a Sign!

February 11, 2019 | News

There’s a lot of stuff that needs signposting at weddings. Your guests need to literally be pointed in the direction of the bar, the toilets, the tables, the dancefloor. And the signs need to tell them what to do… Dance! Smile! Drink Tequila and Dance on the Tables! Well they don’t need to, but they could.

We’ve complied some of our faves. First up is Amelia Walters Studio. Amelia is an illustrator from Brighton and she hand stains and hand-paints scaffold boards which have been planed and joined together.

Below is an example of brush lettering on a chalk board by Little Old Goose, colourful circus-style letters by Missing Chopper and light up letters by Doris Loves (you can have any words you like!)

As well as wedding stationery, Violet Paper Studio offers template designs for table plans. They come printed on 10mm foam board which are nice and sturdy and perfect for easels. They can also be provided with punched holes if you wish to hang them from other types of venue decoration.

Locke and Busby offer giant light up letters and cinema signs.

We really love these cinema light boxes. The Hire Supplier have demonstrated some fabulous ideas for what to display!..
