Goodness me, what a busy few days I’ve had! Saturday was spent doing last minute prep for Sunday’s wedding fair at The Worthing Dome; buying donuts, printing stuff, packing the car, fiddling about with pegboard signage etc!
The next day my eyes pinged open at 5.45am, 15 minutes before my alarm, and it was all systems go to get myself in gear and over to Worthing for set up.
And what a lovely day we had! It was the fourth fair we’ve hosted at the venue and it was officially our busiest yet. We love working with the guys at The Dome, they’re such a great team and they don’t mind us taking over with all things ‘Margot’ twice a year! It’s a real blank canvas venue for creative weddings, in an amazing spot on the seafront opposite the pier.
The atmosphere was buzzing as folk chatted excitedly about their wedding plans, listened to the dulcet tones of Sam Hawkins and larked about in Joie de Booth‘s fun photo booth. Bea from Meadow Arts was set up in the window, on hand for face painting. How exciting for our young visitors… and a wall of donuts too, they were in heaven!
Upstairs, in the iconic ‘dome’ we had workshops in the Atrium Bar (flower crowns with Holly Florist and bold, colourful hair clips with What’s up Birdie). Right at the top, The Whispering Gallery was dressed by Sally Gallis AKA Events by Design. It was pastel helium heaven up there!
