If you haven’t got your copy of our special issue yet I suggest you rush out to the shops ASAP, or order your copy ONLINE NOW! It’s stocked in most WH Smith and Martins stores within Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey. It’s also in some independent newsagents (within these counties, and in Kent and London too).
It’s 132 pages of awesomeness, the best content from issues 8-12 plus 40 pages of brand new content. There are six real weddings so you can have a cheeky look at how other couples have celebrated their nuptials. Tash and Russell eloped and their ceremony took place on a dry lake bed in Vegas, Charlotte and Richard tied the knot at everyone’s favourite French Chateau (Chateau de la Motte Husson, as featured on Channel 4’s Escape to the Chateau). Kerry and Emma had a tipi-tastic big day on the hottest day of 2018 and Kerry arrived on her nan’s mobility scooter… oh and one of the cast members of Gogglebox was there!
We’ve featured eight styled shoot. Shoots are a great source of inspiration and a brilliant way for suppliers to really showcase their work. I’m proud to have worked on the ‘Sweet Beach Dreams’ shoot in Worthing (where our male model didn’t turn up so we went on the hunt and ended up with a hairdresser from Toni & Guy!) I also coordinated the Fire & Ice shoot at Southend Barns.
We’ve got some brilliant contributions from experts such as Laura Elizabeth MUA who shares her tips when it comes to the latest beauty ‘looks’. Not Your Average Flowers have contributed a blooming lovely piece, think blousy bouquets of clashing oranges and hot pink peonies and Project Love have given us some of their wisdom when it comes to ‘making love last’.
I don’t really want to give too much more away… but there are loads of cakes in there, menu ideas, honeymoon ideas, dresses, reviews, Q&As. You’ll just have to go and buy it! I’d say it’s £4.95 well spent. We’d love to see how you’re enjoying yours. Please tag us on Instagram with the hashtag #meandmymargotmag
