Updates from Margot’s HQ

I am SO sorry for radio silence on the blog recently. I went camping at the beginning of the month and broke my toes, then when I got back I was mega busy trying to finish issue 15 before I went to France for my best friend’s wedding. I got back on Sunday and have been trying to sort my life out in the presence of my three-year-old son. He’s gone back to nursery today so I’m back at my desk… I think I left part of my brain in France though.

Later in the week/early next week (when the photos are edited and I’m feeling a bit more human) I am going to blog about Lou and Ryan’s beautiful alpine wedding, but for now here are a couple of phone pics to give you a taste. It really was an amazing few days.

In other news… issue 15’s out! I pressed ‘publish’ and then darted out the door to the airport, so now I’m back you can expect lots of activity spreading the word about our fancy new issue.

Read it now why doncha? (Cover Image Sarah Rook Photography).

Now my summer jaunts are over I can get back to work properly. I’m mainly focusing on my next wedding fair which is at the Dome in Worthing on Sunday 13th October. We have lots of brides registering already and lots of fab exhibitors joining us. We’re full for photography and stationery but still have availability in all other categories so please get in touch to enquire about joining us. Here are some images from our last fair at the Dome.

The other thing I’m focusing on is my new Boat Shed project (you can read all about it in issue 15). I’m working with the owners of a beautiful boat shed in Hampshire to open it up as a new wedding venue. I think it’s exactly what the area needs and I simply can’t wait to get stuck in! I’ll be planning a spring wedding fair at the boat shed (and I’ll be releasing all my 2020 fair dates soon).

Expect lots of great, regular content on the blog as we promote plenty of new advertisers from this latest issue.

As well as all the work projects I’ve got on the go, I’m gearing up for a health kick. Fun adventures and all the booze are great but I’m longing to get back into Couch to 5K, back into my daily yoga and get my new (second hand) bike in working order so I can enjoy the rest of the summer with the wind in my hair!

Enjoy the rest of YOUR summer…

Helen x
