“I absolutely adore steam trains ever since I moved to a flat opposite the Watercress Line in Alton, and have been delighting in the whistles, huffs and puffs and waving at strangers ever since. It’s nostalgic in its smells and sounds, and the heritage teams at The Watercress Line have worked tirelessly to make sure it looks stunning too. What finer opportunity then to buy myself an all day train ticket on the business account than to organise a styled shoot on the railway!
The Wild Hare is an gorgeously alternative tattoo shop in Normandy Street with clothing by local designers in the front, and Irregular Choice shoes too… how could I not go in?! We used the shop as a dressing base for Paula to do the hair and make up, and to get dressed into the incredible clothes by Louise and millinery by Adrienne! Having realised that we’d need some gorgeous flowers, I called Hazel at Eden Blooms who was more helpful than I could have hoped for! The loose bouquet added some real whimsy.
