April 16, 2018 | News

Everyone wants to be on-trend nowadays, but we also want to stand out. It can sometimes be overwhelming trying to think of your own ideas for how to incorporate certain trends or ideas into your wedding. That’s why we’ve put together a blog to help and inspire you!

Pantone Wedding Colour for 2018

Yes, yes yes! Ultraviolet purple is in, and for all you quirky couples out there, you are going to love this. Who said purple was going out of fashion? Wrong. There are so many ways you can incorporate this colour into your wedding theme. Be different, don’t go with the same old white crockery for your wedding table design! Bring in those purple hues by hiring ultraviolet purple crockery that is bound to wow your guests. It’s so important to follow this up with good cutlery, and what better option that a stunning gold to compliment your place setting.

Acrylic Stationery

Add some quirky details to your ceremony by reserving your wedding seats with these stunning and unique acrylic name tags. These can be easily tied to your Chiavari chairs or, if your venue has a different chair option for the ceremony room why not attach them to your order of the day stationery?

Brassy Tones

If you didn’t know already, brassy tones are in! There are just so many ways you can add brassy tones into your wedding theme and what better way than by adding a copper cake stand? Ask your florist to incorporate some florals to merge these colours together. Add some gold accents to your quirky wedding cake to make those purple tones pop!

Marble Accents

Admittedly, one of our favourite wedding trends for 2018, one of which I know you will all love. Marble Accents. So easy to incorporate, giving you the option to expand your art deco wedding style. Choose marble hexagon place cards with golden calligraphy to bring a modern art deco trend to your wedding day. If you want to go down the DIY route, you have the perfect opportunity to do so. Purchase hexagon marble tiles online and either send them to a calligrapher or hand write these yourself.

Charger Plates

If you’re not already using charger plates, you should be. They are so easy to source, and with so many hire companies to choose from, the options are endless. Use your rustic trestle tables to your advantage with those purple tones. These two tones compliment each other so well, but if you want to break up the colour then use white vintage charger plates to bring the concept together. Keeping it different and unique to your individual style, whilst keeping it elegant and on-trend.

Foliage and Alternative Florals

It’s all about being natural, being one with nature and really utilising your florist to create so wow-factor florals, whilst keeping it subtle and aligned to your vintage wedding theme. Trestle tables are your favourite for 2018 weddings, so what better way to style than some fresh eucalyptus centre pieces tied in with some white candles.
