Locate to Create is a prop hire and event styling business based in Kent. They hold an eclectic portfolio of props and furniture that can be hired individually, or as packages. Their flexible, creative and bespoke approach make them a great solution for dry hire venues… and they travel all over!
Picture the scene, you’ve found your perfect venue, it’s a blank canvas but that’s okay because you want to have your own input into the theme and styling… you just need somewhere you can browse available props, chat to someone about your ideas and have it all transported and set up. Ta da! Locate to Create at your service. They can provide rustic dining tables and chairs for all your guests as well as table centrepieces, backdrops, bars, signage, and cosy seating areas. You can go with their tried and tested packages or get creative, shop their collection and design your own…
Vintage/rustic/boho is Locate to Create’s vibe. They use glitzy, festival-style elements to give their set ups a modern edge.
Holly Dallison is the founder of Locate to Create but it’s very much a family business with her mother (who previously owned a vintage interior shop) working with her full time, and other family members getting involved with logistics.
Holly and her team love being creative and trying innovative ideas. “Using vintage and unique props encourages me to think outside the box and use items in creative ways” says Holly. “Why not turn a vintage drinks trolley into a cake table or dessert station?” Why not indeed…
By using vintage pieces, we are both recycling and up-cycling, which is also great for our environment.
At Margot’s Wedding we particularly love their boho seating area, their rug package, bike bar, ‘naked’ ceremony tipi, ribbon garlands, tie dye table runners and hot pink chest of drawers. Oooooh and we also LOVE the idea of their DIY flower crown bar. Genius. We need it at our outdoor wedding fair next month.
You can book Locate to Create for a full styling service or just for a helping hand on the days. Check out their website for their full range of props and packages.
