Lockdown Resources

Hello! How is lockdown 2 treating you? Personally I’m thanking my lucky stars school is still open, and I’m feeling positive after the US election result and news of Covid vaccine. #summer2021 is trending on Twitter and I’m hopeful all my boat shed bookings for next year can go ahead, and we can get back to wedding fairs before too long. I’m missing co-working in the pub with fellow wedding suppliers but I’m getting back into Zoom catch ups to stay connected. I’m moving house this weekend (I’m moving within walking distance of The Boat Shed!) so I’m being kept very busy indeed. It seems like everyone’s itching to get Christmas decs up early this year?

As there are no fairs for inspiration, and many of you engaged folk may be Furloughed, I wanted to point you in the direction of some of our resources.

Free Digital Magazine

Many of you will know we’ve been producing a wedding magazine for the last eight years. It started as a print publication, our special issue went into the shops last year (a very proud moment!), we then went digital-only for four issues and we’re now making the transition to all content being featured on the blog.

You can still view our most recent issue, issue 17, online (click the link) as well as five previous issues. Just navigate to the bottom of our homepage and you can view back to issue 11 (which was published online in March 2018).

Special Issue Magazine

Limited copies of our special issue are still available to order online, to be posted to your door and enjoyed with a nice cuppa… or glass of vino perhaps? We’re very proud of our special issue, it’s a culmination of our best content from issues 8-12. Follow this link to purchase (psst… use code FREEPP at checkout for free postage, you’re welcome!) www.margotswedding.co.uk/magazine/

Why not put the kettle on and go back through our blog archives? There are pages and pages of inspirational features, ideas and links to suppliers.

If you’re searching for suppliers, have a look (by area) at trusted suppliers within our online directory.

That’s all folks! May you continue to stay positive and test negative.

P.S. I couldn’t resist sharing this image of me and my son taken at the weekend by directory advertiser Teddy Pig Photography. I love it!
