I joined West-Sussex based Earth Catering as Event Supervisor back in April. I met most of the couples for their menu tastings at EC’s HQ, a beautiful remote barn in Runcton near Chichester, before their individual celebrations in all sorts of venues throughout Hampshire, Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
I loved going to wedding venues I hadn’t visited before. My favourite was Elsted Village Hall near Midhurst (pictured below), a real blank canvas space with retro green velvet stage curtains! The views from the cricket field really are exceptional, and there is plenty of space for a marquee, stretch tent, chill out bell tents or the like.
Elsted Village Hall in West Sussex is definitely not to be confused with Elstead Village Hall in Surrey… a mistake I made. Imagine how stressed I was, especially as I was driving the van that day… in the wrong county with a van full of wedding food!
I could tell you all about Earth Catering’s food, or you could just click on Wedding Brochure to check out their amazing menus for yourself. My favourite mains are definitely the Duo of Lamb and the Burgundy Chicken… and I’m still dreaming about their cheesecake mmmmm.
I think the photos of their food speak for themselves don’t they? Oh and they can run a bar for you too.
I also loved seeing people’s gardens transformed for an ‘at home’ wedding, the below was my favourite example of this.
I would highly recommend Earth Catering; good people, good food, good times…
