If you’re a small business, in any industry, your customers are going to want to see the face behind the brand. You need an ‘about’ page on your website, you need social media content and you may choose to include a photo of yourself on printed marketing material…
And quite frankly an iPhone photo taken by your sister doesn’t quite cut it. You need a professional to take the photos. A professional photographer knows the backdrops that will work well, where to shoot in terms of light (and what time of day) and they’ll be able to put you at ease and direct you when it comes to poses.
I did a personal branding branding shoot with Natasha Jay Photography back in the summer and the above are three of my favourite images. I wanted these natural images for my new business Flo’s Circle and they’ve worked brilliantly, I’m so pleased with them. We had such fun on the shoot in Hamble, it was a great location and it was just like having a fun day out with an old friend.
This service is about celebrating you – the wonderful, authentic, inspiring being that you are.
After 12 years in the wedding/events industry I’m quite used to having my picture taken but I know some people couldn’t think of anything more excruciating… which is why Tash specialises in photographing camera-shy women in business.
You might need headshots or photos of yourself in your ‘natural habitat’ (i.e. the setting for your photos gives clues as to your brand/what you do), or maybe you need a combination, and some product shots too.
