Romantic Boho Bridal Shoot

July 16, 2018 | News

This enchanting styled shoot coordinated by The Vintage Parade boasts boho vibes and a colourful banquet fit for a king.

“Our shoot began as an extension to exhibiting at my spring fair at Slindon College” explains Alex Cvijovic (The Vintage Parade’s head honcho). “Attending our events is not just about promoting your business in one day, it’s about extending that opportunity. I provide the mood and colour board and let the suppliers inject their own creativity. Everyone is focused on their own specialism but support one another”.

Bridal Photo Shoot

Theme ~ We opted for eccentric bohemian influences with more conventional, romantic touches.

Colour Palette ~ We chose not to have any dominant colours but bright fuchsia and tangerine were paired with softer shades such as peach, sofa blue, and pistachio.

Location ~ We were absolutely blessed to work with Slindon College as the sheer size of the property allowed us to shoot several stories. Its grounds and 18th century facade perfectly complimented the romantic and whimsical influences of our theme, whilst the greenhouse and timber tables fit perfectly with our boho luxe style.

Models ~ We loved both the girl’s natural hair; one with raven Rapunzel locks and the other with natural auburn tones. We didn’t want conventional wedding makeup, we wanted the models to look like true festival brides. Our initial mood board requested glitter and cat eyeliner. You’ll clearly witness the transition of our original theme into the final dreamy result.

Flowers ~ Our floral arrangements could honestly have acted as the only décor piece throughout the shoot – they were that impressive. Amanda used the most beautiful flowers and she went beyond my expectations with the number of arrangements she created. The greenery in the arrangements broke up all the colour whilst portraying a wild and effortless look. Eucalyptus was also a really important element in this theme as it’s a match made in heaven when paired with sways of fabric. They also bring on a more modern and minimal feel among the provincial roses.

Styling ~ Armed with an eclectic mix of hand-selected items, Lo & Behold Bespoke set-up and styled props and accessories for a laid back, boho vibe to suit our theme.

We hope this styled shoot has inspired all you boho brides out there!
