It’s been so cold lately I’ve regretted getting rid of my mum’s old Russian hat (little-known fact about me, I lived in Moscow when I was four).
When I think of Russia I don’t think of flowers somehow but today I’m featuring Hampshire-based Russian Blooms!
Sometimes I look at people’s work and I think “how the devil are you so talented?” and Sally Biloshiskaya’s floristry business is no exception.
Sally started the business two years ago simply because she wanted to do something she loved. She obviously has passion and raw talent for the industry because her designs have been commissioned all over the UK and Singapore.
Sally’s background is in fashion and luxury brands, as a stylist for celebrities and royalty. Sally enjoyed the bespoke, high-end customer service and wanted this to carry through to her unique floral creations.
With her business partner/husband, the plan is to take Russian Blooms on the road! They have upcycled and transformed a vintage horse trailer into a space for workshops, a travelling florist and it will be used as a photo booth too.
Look out for Russian Bloom’s floral couture all over the UK.
