Supplier Spotlight – The W Collection

If you’re having a marquee wedding at home, or in a blank canvas venue, you’re going to need to consider furniture. Hampshire-based The W Collection offers an inventory of stylish and distinctive furniture and props.

Pick and choose from their catalogue to create intimate settings and relaxed spaces to gather and dine.

The W Collection is headed up by Pippa who has a passion for hospitality and interior design. With an airline pilot father she has travelled extensively, and has been influenced by different cultures, people, colours and landscapes. Pippa lived in Australia for many years where she owned and managed a stunning destination restaurant and wedding venue.

Our favourite collection is the bamboo, wicker and rattan range. The simple, natural textures offer a real sense of relaxed sophistication. The bamboos screens are so versatile, candle lanterns add atmosphere, greenery offers a sense of tranquillity and the hemp rug finishes everything off nicely.

The Soho console table is the perfect decorative piece, complete with drinks dispensers (shown below beautifully dressed with flowers).

Soft velvet sofas and armchairs create a beautiful inside/outside lounge for an elegant English wedding.

Their bespoke trestle tables are made from reclaimed floor boards and they look stunning with their ghost dining chairs. We also love their canvas directors chairs for a more relaxed ‘beachy’ feel, for lounge or dining.

The gorgeous natural rattan sofa works well with natural, light-coloured accessories, while the black rattan sofa can look more formal with black metal tables.

Large frames and backdrops are available to create a bold statement piece.

Speak to Pippa about your individual wedding venue, she has a real eye for making the most of your surroundings.

You can meet Pippa and see some of her beautiful dining, lounge and ceremony set-ups at The Boat Shed Open Day next Sunday 13th September.

You can also arrange to visit the studio, by appointment, to view the collection.
