Sussex Pub Wedding

The Three Crowns – A quintessential village pub with an eclectic twist.

April 12, 2019 | News

Plenty of us have spent some of the happiest moments of our lives in pubs. They are places where it’s easy to relax, to be with friends, to forget the world for a while… exactly the things you should be considering when deciding on a reception venue!

The Three Crowns is a warm and welcoming family-run pub located in the quintessential Sussex village of Wisborough green. The village green, spired church, antique shops and duck pond make it a gorgeous setting for photos.

The pub is Grade II listed with an eclectic interior; battered leather sofas, Union Jack cushions, decorative knick knacks and a jumble of mismatching fabrics and wallpaper.

The dining room capacity is 50 or you can go for exclusive hire, who wouldn’t want their own pub for the day?! During the summer months the gardens are spectacular, and big enough for a marquee. If you’re considering a winter wedding, local company Beautiful World Tents pitch their authentic Nordic tipis in the garden every December. They hold up to 110 people for a sit-down meal, with lots of room for a band and dance floor. The reindeer hide seating, fire pits and twinkly lighting create a truly magical ‘winter wonderland’ atmosphere.

The kitchen team are renowned for fabulous fresh food and they work closely with couples to create seasonal menus to suit the day. From three course sit-down wedding breakfasts to BBQ buffets, hog roasts and afternoon Teas.

The team at The Three Crowns have close relationships with local suppliers such as bands and musicians who they can rely on and recommend.

A truly versatile and accommodating space.
