Updates from The Boat Shed…

I think big things are in store for The Boat Shed, Hampshire from next year and beyond!

With our first wedding this summer postponed until next May, we’ve already got three weddings next year to kick things off. And we have back-to-back appointments booked at our open day on 13th September so I expect lots more bookings to come in after that.

This is the first open day we’ve had at The Boat Shed. We had a wedding fair in March, it was a great day with A LOT of suppliers in the space. In contrast, the open day is a stripped back affair, we’re keeping things simple in order to really show off the space to potential couples. We’re setting up dining tables complete with place settings and flowers, a bar, outside furniture, a lounge area, ceremony area (complete with a celebrant to talk you through all things ceremony!) They’ll be props, lighting, balloons, cake, pizza and live entertainment. Sounds pretty good right?

Of course we’ve got a brilliant photographer coming down to capture a different look to add to our portfolio of images.

We simply can’t wait to get photos of real weddings at The Boat Shed from next year!

To find out more about The Boat Shed Open Day on Sunday 13th September (11am-3pm), check out the Facebook event and contact me if you’d like to book a one-to-one appointment (you’re welcome to just come and have a chat but if you’re at the stage where you have questions etc I have limited short time slots available).

We also have a wedding fair planned at The Boat Shed for Sunday 7th March 2021. This is a great event for inspiration whether you’ve already booked your venue or not. Expect the best local suppliers, goody bags, fizz, live entertainment and workshops. Check out the Facebook event to register.
